EXPLORING THE CONTEXT

CLASS #1 7/4/22

In the first class we talked about different kinds of visual metaphors and how information can be displayed in different kinds of graphs.
As an exercise we were supposed to put the collection we chose into a visual metaphor that speaks to the user group that was linked to the collections.

Nico and I chose the Ninja Tune Record Label and Kids. We started thinking about how kids are usually attracted to bright colors especially when they can't read yet. The website of Ninja Tunes displays a lot of album art which is why we wanted to organize those by color.

CLASS #2 22/4/22

In the class we created User stories (on the left in my notes) and after that we were supposed to create a visual mood board as to how we want the interface to look (shapes, typography, colors, etc.).
