DESIGN PROCESS
DOCUMENTATION USER TESTING

First prototype of the cards
After only wanting to make analouge playing cards we quickly realized that it wouldn't be possible to it in the way we wanted to do it since visualizing a rhythm on a piece of paper is very hard.

Colors, gestures and the process of the logo

First prototype of the cards
After realizing we needed to add a digital layer we thought about the easiest way to do this. We decided to go with color changing shapes since children are familiar with the shapes and changing colors are easy to recognize.

Process of the packaging
In the prior version of the videos we had a countdown above the shapes and no beginning screen however after the user testing we made some changes.
For the outside packaging we wanted to bring the gestures from the cards back and created a pattern.
First prototypes for the front and back of the packaging.
Timeline of our packaging prototypes.

Prototypes for the cards
Throughout the user testing and the multiple feedback rounds the following things have changed from a prior prototype (which was destroyed in the rain) to this final one:
1. The songs have a star rating which indicate the levels
2. There is no explanation in the back because the explanation is in the packaging
3. There is no amount of players because we realized the amount of players is not limited to the three shapes since multiple children can follow the same shape
